"You are about to go on a journey through the many dimensions of your own self. This journey will take you through a transformation of consciousness - across a vital bridge - connecting spirit and matter, Heaven and Earth, mind and body. As you transform yourself, you transform the world. This journey is a colourful one; it offers an alternative to the drab, grey mentality of the modern era. Reclaiming the multidimensional diversity of the human experience is the task of this journey.
The vital bridge, the Rainbow ridge and its seven colours represents the seven vibratory modalities of human existence, related to the seven chakras of the yogic tradition, the energy centres that exist within each and every one of us.
Crossing the Rainbow bridge is a metaphor for the evolution of consciousness.
On our journey through life, the chakras are the wheels that take the Self across the Rainbow Bridge to reclaim our divine nature once again.” (Anodea Judith)
A powerful and insightful introduction to the seven subtle energy centres known as “chakras” through asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra and essential oil applications.
Part asana, part yoga psychology and comprehensive body-mind therapy, this workshop will be an exploration of the chakra system blending Eastern philosophy and Western psychology. The chakra system is rightfully considered a map of the human bio-computer, a clear understanding and fluency in this system allows us to have a better relationship with ourselves and consequently with others, thus cultivating more meaningful and mutually enriching relationships, whether at work, at home or in social circles.
What you will learn in this workshop:
Overview and characteristics of the chakra system (location, bija mantra, developmental stage, physical function)
Balanced and imbalanced characteristics
Targeted asanas and mudras to restore balance to the chakras
Healing strategies and lifestyle consideration (including the use of specific Young Living essential oils to restore balance to the chakra system)
Therapeutic journey through the Rainbow Bridge where we you will reflect upon your relationship with yourself and other participants, as you revisit each Chakra and the area of life it represents
