Getting to Know Trinity College London and the
launch of our NEW exam centre in Macclesfield.
Hosted by Peter Buckby (Regional Consultant, North of England and Midlands, Trinity College London), this FREE interactive workshop will introduce you to Trinity's Music exams. This workshop is designed for teachers and students and will also include the official unveiling of our new exam venue at Shackleford's Piano's in Macclesfield.
Whether you currently use Trinity's materials or you are just interested in finding out more about what we do and how our fabulous resources and assessments can assist you in music making, you are welcome to join us.
During the event we will look at a range of Trinity's resources, take a practical look at our assesments through activties and discusson and provide you with ample opportunity to ask us questions.
There will be free refreshments available and a free resources pack to take away after the event.

Welcome to London’s Original David Bowie Musical Walking Tour. Offering a 2.5 hour guided tour of Bowie’s vibrant hometown of Brixton, join us for an all-encompassing journey from birth to death of one of London’s biggest icons. The tour will feature classic David Bowie songs performed en route and stories and anecdotes from his life.
Tours run regularly on Sundays from 2pm - 4.30pm. They will commence outside Brixton Tube Station at the time detailed on your ticket or at the time of booking.
Your tour guide will be by the tourist information map near Brixton Tube Station holding a guitar! We recommend you arrive at least 10 minutes early.

Join Bowie Tour London's host Nick Stephenson for a special one-off acoustic performance of two classic David Bowie albums, Hunky Dory and The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars performed in their entirely at The Ship, Wardour Street, Soho - Bowie's regular watering hole between 1967 - 1970.

The Canadian Live Music Association has partnered with London-based Anova (working to create a future without violence in London and Middlesex County), Over the Bridge (connecting members of the music industry to mental health and addiction recovery, education, training, and long-term support services) and the London 2019 Host Committee to launch its new initiative RAISING THE BAR (RTB) in London, Ontario on March 4, 2019.
RTB is a program designed to deliver training and education to ensure safer spaces, harm reduction and event safety in Canada’s live music industry.
The London event, programmed to precede JUNO week, has been made available to clubs (including JUNOfest venues), promoters, arenas, festivals, theatres and others at no cost will focus on:
Bystander intervention training:
Identifying what sexual violence and harassment looks and sounds like
Gaining concrete skills on how to safely intervene when witnessing sexual violence and harassment through 5 specific methods
Introduction and the distribution of opioid overdose prevention education, instructions, and kits
The signs to look for and how to use a kit
Training will be followed by a networking reception.
